About me
I am Yacine Elghorri, an artist who loves art and is passionate about drawing. Born and raised in Paris, France, I have pursued my passion and achieved many accomplishments in the fields of animation and comics. I believe that art can convey emotions and connect people. I hope my artworks can bring joy and inspiration to everyone.
My career
- 1990: Began exploring the passion for art in Paris, France, and studied animation at Ecole de l'Image Gobelins (Paris).
- 1996: Moved to the United States and started working in the film industry in Los Angeles. Worked for Rich Animation Studios, DreamWorks, and Twentieth Century Fox.
- 2000: Met and collaborated with artist Jean Giraud (Moebius) on the Thru the Moebius Strip project, a 3D production.
- 2010: Returned to Paris, France, and continued to explore and engage with art. Created various diverse comic works and collaborated with renowned artists like Alejandro Jodorowsky and Philippe Druillet.
- From 2010 to the present: Continues to dedicate to the passion and spread artistic inspiration to everyone.
Distinguished Works
Thru the Moebius Strip (2005) - 3D animation
Concept artist and storyboard artist in the production of this 3D animated film. He collaborated with artist Jean Giraud (Moebius) to contribute to the unique design and concept of this project.
Heavy Metal Magazine (1999)
Created two black and white short stories for the renowned science fiction comics magazine, Heavy Metal Magazine.
Futurama (1999)
Character designer for the first season of the popular animated series, Futurama. He contributed to creating unique and captivating characters in the series.
Titan A.E (1998)
Concept artist and storyboard artist in the production of the science fiction animated film, Titan A.E. He participated in designing and conceptualizing unique landscapes and characters in the film.
Evolution (2001)
Concept artist and storyboard artist in the production of the science fiction comedy film, Evolution. He contributed to designing and conceptualizing the special and captivating alien creatures in the film.
Medina (2012-2015)
Concept artist and storyboard artist in the creation of a series of three graphic novels called Medina, collaborating with writer Jean Dufaux.
